Questo è un progetto corale, una congiunzione di forze che si sta concretizzando in un evento dalle tante sfaccettature.
Ci saranno in mostra 200 pattern, realizzati da altrettanti progettisti supportati da una decina di aziende locali e non.
Dal tessuto urbano di Napoli alla finestra coreana, dalle dune del deserto ai voronoi, dalla voluta del capitello agli stilemi della secessione viennese, dalla mashrabiyya al labirinto della cattedrale di Chartres: questi alcuni dei progetti di Pattern Your Life.
Pattern Your Life è un’idea di Rossella Siani, architetto, Ph.D. e docente a contratto presso il Dipartimento di Architettura dell’Università Federico II e rientra nel progetto più grande di VAHA, che, con l’aiuto di ArrowSoft, azienda di programmazione, diventa una community telematica per la condivisione di esperienze sulla fabbricazione digitale, che attualmente accoglie questo ed altri progetti (www.vaha.it)
La sperimentazione sui pattern nasce in ambito accademico. Studi teorici, esercizi pratici, lavori con gli studenti sono i primi ingredienti di questa storia; pian piano vengono coinvolti il FabLab Napoli, Hub Makerspase, Medaarch, Mnemosyne3D, De Artis Digitale, Proplus, The Spark Creative Hub, 3D Italy, Tyche, Fabrika da varie parti della Campania, a queste si aggiungono Vactorealism da Milano e FabFacrory da Roma e infine D-Shape, colosso della stampa 3D a scala architettonica.
Il progetto diventa un concorso a cui partecipano studenti e professionisti. Le aziende offrono incontri formativi, supporto alla realizzazione, uso dei macchinari e infine anche i premi per il concorso. Napoli Lovemark accoglie il progetto e offre con grande professionalità l’organizzazione dell’evento al Maschio Angioino.
L’evento comincia alle 14.30 di sabato 11, nell’antisala dei Baroni del Maschio Angioino.
Dopo i saluti istituzionali, l’ideatrice del progetto, Rossella Siani, modererà una tavola rotonda per approfondire le tematiche dell’artigianato digitale. Intervengono il prof. arch. Sergio Pone, l’arch. Enzo Tenore, l’arch. Mario Coppola e l’arch. Mario Pagliaro.

A concludere questo viaggio vorticoso, un momento più lento e raccolto. Intervengono l’arch. Stefania Vestuto e l’arch. Luigi di Pietro, eredi del grande architetto Fabrizio Carola, per raccontare la cupola a spirale realizzata per BACAS lo scorso luglio. Una sezione anticipata del concorso Pattern Your Life ha dato come premio proprio la partecipazione a questo cantiere. L’ultima opera vista nasce dal Maestro prima di lasciarci.
Questo premio ha dato ai vincitori nuove conoscenze e competenze, nuove esperienze. Mondi apparentemente distanti come la fabbricazione digitale e la costruzione con il compasso nubiano di Carola, sono posti non a caso a confronto. Tanti punti hanno in comune, tanti che ancora devono essere del tutto compresi, questo è un momento di congiunzione.
A concludere, ci sarà la premiazione, accolta nella splendida scenografia del cortile e dello scalone. Una ventina i premi erogati dai partner, tutti premi volti all’approfondimento di conoscenze e competenze in quest’ambito della fabbricazione digitale, che ha ancora molto da far sorprendere.
